We are located in Gruver, TX...A small town 100 miles north of Amarillo. We have been rodeoing for about 20 years and raising dogs for about 5 years. All of our horses and dogs are given the upmost care and maintenance and enjoy life with us in the middle of "God's Country" on 640 acres.

As 2009 comes to a close we would like to thank ALL of our doxie and horse customers.
We have been truly blessed this year and have incurred many changes in our lives.
We have FINALLY found a place to set our roots and raise our family.
Please rememer we are always available for questions or just to chat and we look
forward to another great year. We do have a new litter of puppies on the ground
from our beloved Annie so check out our Puppy Page.
Also, be looking for upcoming changes to our horse program as we start to expand
and start heading down the road again!!

We are proud to be an alliance with Dream-Angel Rescue. We have already rescued several Doxie mixes and a precious litter of Chiweenie puppies from the Borger Animal Shelter. Sherry with Dream-Angel and myself have already driven countless miles and given our time to make sure these Angels have a second chance at a new home. We've gotten a small taste of what winter has in store for us!! I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. But if it means no more rattlesnakes... bring it on!
Life is going well for us here but things have changed drastically... due to our surroundings and now the busy-ness of our kids!!! We have decided to retire from the breeding business. We are offering all of our doxies for sale or adoption (minus Annie and Ziggy who will remain with us as pets).
Please check out our doxie pages and contact me for more info. Prices are based on a private treaty. I'm more concerned with the homes my dogs go to than the money. We will still have a litter due in Dec. our of Annie and Ziggy. I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of raising dachshunds and meeting new people. Life has just taken its turns and my attention and time are pulling in the direction of a near 3 year old little girl and an almost 1 year old growing boy!!!
Thank you to all my past customers and I will remain available as a resource to doxie and dog lovers!

Well.... haven't seen a snake in a while. Thanks Goodness!!!
All is well and we are about finished with the outside of the house... sidewalks, porches, ect
I am really starting to enjoy life up here. It is absolutely breathtaking to see the sunsets
and the storms blowing in from miles away.
Unfortunately, puppy sales just aren't what they were up here (steady but not booming)
So.. I have made the tough decision to sell a few of my adult males and females to
downsize to a more economical number for this area. This is very hard for me for I am attached
to every single one of them... But its best for me and my dogs.
They will be offered to Responsible Pet or Breeder Homes after interviewing.
Their happiness is very important to me once they leave here and is my top priority.

We are sad to say we lost one of our beloved Dachshunds...
After a run-in with a huge Rattlesnake, there was one casualty and 2 others injured badly.

The other two, Belle and Molly, will make a full recovery. We were able to kill the snake and have put great efforts towards making sure this does not happen again. Unfortunately Rattlesnakes are very common in these parts. If you live in an area where Rattlesnakes are a possibilty, I highly recommend getting your dog vaccinate with the rattlesnake vaccine. Ask your vet for more info.
