RODEO HORSES & PROSPECTS 
At Armes Ranch you will find quality rodeo performance horses of any level. Lots of time, work, and effort are put into the horses daily to produce a sound partner in and out of the rodeo arena. Bray and Neelley Armes have been riding and rodeoing for about 20 years and have lots of experience in the rodeo arena. Bray and Neelley are both members of the PRCA, UPRA, AQHA, just to name a few. Bray is a professional Steer Wrestler and also shows his talents in the Team Roping and occasional Calf Roping. Neelley has been Barrel Racing professionally for six years and also competes competively in the Breakaway Roping and Team Roping. Bray and Neelley were both highschool and college champions. Bray has gone on to win the PRCA Texas Circuit in 2004 and rank in the top 30 of the World Standings. Neelley was apart of the 2005 Tarleton State Girls Team NIRA National Champions and was the 2006-2007 National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association President in her last year of college rodeo. Bray and Neelley are now enjoying themselves raising their daughter Breely, rodeoing, and training horses.
We offer several services including: Training in Barrels and Pole Bending, Tune-ups, problem solving, conditioning, and outside sales.

Cowboy is an exceptional horse that is just coming into his prime. Cowboy has been in the family since he was 2 years old. He was first started out in the heading where he soon became a natural and then went into training in the barrels with Neelley Armes. He has become a solid, high caliber barrel horse. Cowboy is part of our open barrel horse team here at Armes Ranch. He runs hard and turns even harder. He has placed in the 1D at several barrel races and been very competitive at college and open rodeos. Along with being an exceptional barrel horse, Cowboy is also a high caliber head horse. He is not for the inexperienced roper. He scores good runs hard and can get left!! We have started him on the poles and he has been competed in the goat tying at the collegiate level. Snuff is one of a kind. He is a super 4 year old with the mind of an older horse. Snuff is an Armes Ranch favorite!!! He is stout at 14 hands and still growing. Snuff is very gentle and quiet but has lots of speed and quickness. He is currently in training with Neelley where he is already breezing the barrel pattern with ease and currently being exhibitioned. Bray has also started Snuff in the heeling where is looking very promising. He side passes, stops, spins, ect. We are very excited to see how this little boy finishes out.

Very athletic, 15 hands bay gelding. Kid Rock was broke last year as a 4 year old and has come along nice since. Bray has taken him over and is excited about his upcoming success. He has had a few miles doctoring cattle and working a feedlot in the Texas panhandle. He has been started in heading and heeling and coming along nice. Lots of speed and ability. Would also make nice barrel prospect. Kid Rock has lots of flex and stop.
